Carissimi Amici e Artisti, buongiorno a Voi!
Il
mio nome è Gabriella Vai, vivo d'arte e di curiosità , principalmente a
Torino, scrivo, canto, compongo e, soprattutto, amo. Questo è un invito
per «creature meravigliose», per anime sensibili e corpi frementi, per
menti vivaci e cuori loquaci: chi vuol giocare con me?
Vi spiego di che si tratta...
L'evento
a cui vi convoco prende il via da una collaborazione artistica, nata
"per caso", che ha lasciato tracce interessanti e buone a diversi
livelli e dimensioni.
Nel 2004, un amico pittore mi chiese di
comporre una poesia ispirata ad un suo quadro, per partecipare ad un
concorso dove il tema era il fuoco. Vincemmo.
Il "quadro con poesia" in questione si intitolava «Ardore» (qui di seguito) e ancora oggi mi parla di me.
Dopo diciassette anni, voglio provare nuovamente la sensazione sottile e profonda dell'incontro tra
le Arti, la sinapsi cosmica interesistenziale, ma questa volta offro io
le mie poesie ad Artisti (pittori, scultori, fotografi, musicisti) che si vogliano lasciar
ispirare.
Il MIIT di Torino, Museo Internazionale Italia Arte, sempre
attento alle correnti artistiche in movimento, ospiterà , sosterrà e
promuoverà l'evento che - da questo incontro - scaturirà . Di seguito le modalità di partecipazione, i dettagli di promozione e le prospettive.
Vi
aspetto, emozionata e curiosa, pregustando un'esperienza viva, feconda e
divertente per tutte le «creature meravigliose» che vorranno
partecipare.

Dear Friends and Artists, my greetings
to you!
My name is Gabriella Vai, I live in art
and curiosity, I write, sing, compose and, above all, love.
This is an invitation for "wonderful
creatures", for sensitive souls and quivering bodies, for lively minds
and talkative hearts: who wants to play with me?
I'll explain what it is ...
The event to which I am calling you
starts from an artistic collaboration, born "by chance", which has
left interesting and good traces at different levels and dimensions. In 2004, a painter friend of mine asked
me to compose a poem inspired by one of his paintings, to participate in a competition
where the theme was “Fire”. We won. The painting / poem was titled «Ardore/Ardour»
(see above) and it still speaks to me about me.
After seventeen years, I want
to try again the thin and deep sensation of the meeting between the Arts, the
inter-existential cosmic synapse, but this time I offer my poems to Artists
(painters or sculptors) who want to be inspired.
The MIIT of Turin, International Museumof Italian Art, always attentive to the artistic currents in movement, will
host, support and promote the event that - from this meeting - will spring.
